说上古时期有点夸张，但从页脚的Copyright：1996-2019这个信息来看，这个邮箱界面是对得起1996这个年份的。

从邮箱的界面来看，功能上还算比较齐全，还支持PGP（虽然在BETA阶段，通过测试来看对PGP的支持非常完美）。最上侧的菜单栏从左往右依次为：

• Member Home：可以从下拉的二级菜单“Account Info”中查看邮箱账户的基本信息、修改密码、升级或删除账户。
• Purchase：购买其它服务。
• Write Email：该菜单包括3个功能，发送“Anonymous Email”、“Messaging & File Sharing（自毁邮件）”和“PGP Secure Email（PGP加密邮件）”。
• Folders：文件夹，可以查看收件箱、发件箱、垃圾箱等。
• Address Book：添加、删除联系人邮箱地址的通讯录。
• Other Services：其它的收费服务。
• Setting：包括设置转发地址、邮箱别名、签名、自动回复等。
• Security Center：跟前面的“Account Info”差不多，可以删除账户、修改密码。

注册过程比较简单，有两个邮箱后缀可以选择：一个较长一些@anonymousspeech.com，一个稍短一些@vistomail.com。打开官网https://www.anonymousspeech.com/registration.aspx#registration注册即可，跟Mailfence和msgsafe这两个加密邮箱一样，邮箱登陆名和邮箱地址不一样，增加了安全性。

注册完之后在菜单栏“Member Home”-“Account Information”-“Membership Information”可以看到在“Membership Expire Date”一列，邮箱账户为“Trial Account（试用账户）”而非免费邮箱或永久。在 Anonymous Email FAQ可以看到Anonymous Email对此的解释：

We allow you to test our service and send test emails for free. (Limitations apply)
However non-paid accounts are not protected with our anonymity guarantee.

即，非付费用户不享受匿名保护，在“Membership Information”也可以看到“Anonymity Guarantee: OFF”。除此之外，免费用户在发送“Anonymous Email”时会带一条大长尾巴，发送其它邮件不受影响。
